Description
Starting from the Shore Car Park, the Farm Trail follows the Shorev Trail along the Strangford Lough coastline with stunning views across the bay to Portaferry. The trail then follows the Castle Trail and circles Audley's Castle before crossing the Audleystown Road to enter the walled estate.
Please beware this trail flows through forested land and is shared with walkers and horses which may be approaching from the opposite direction.
Following along the back of the temple and the walled garden another gate leads into a small plantation of pine trees and then onto the oak park. Here there is a semi-permanent; turn left off the trail and follow the line of Lime trees back onto the trail path under the tunnel. This diversion is only about 100m long and is in operation from spring through to late autumn.
