Kelan Grant Wins the Red Bull Foxhunt 2017

This weekend saw local WideOpen Mag Team rider Kelan Grant take 1st place in the adrenaline fueled Red Bull Foxhunt 2017 at Rostrevor Mountain Bike Trails.

Kelan, who featured in MountainBikeNI's RideNorth video alongside EWS U21 champ Killian Callaghan, beat some of the biggest names in the world of mountain biking, including Gee Atherton, Loic Bruni and Colin Ross.

Other big names from the MTB world including Glyn O'Brien, Rob Warner and Greg Callaghan all appeared at the weekend, along with 450 other riders all competing to be the first down the mountain.

The mass start event enjoyed huge numbers of spectators to the one of a kind event, that comes at the end of a long season for many of the riders.
