Dark Sky Observatory Gets the Go Ahead at Davagh Forest

Davagh Forest will see the creation of a brand new 'Dark Sky Observatory' project following the recommendation of Mid Ulster's Planning Committee yesterday.

It is hoped that the project will see an influx of interest to Davagh Forest, to both the Dark Sky Observatory and the mountain bike trails there.

Included within the design are an observatory, visitor hub and a number of glamping pods specially designed so as to give off limited light pollution.
