Colin Ross Victory in Round 1 of Vitus Enduro Cup at Castlewellan

Colin Ross led a trio of podium finishes in the Pro Men category for the Vitus Bikes team this weekend at Caslewellan Mountain Bike Trails.

Colin took first place in each of the five stages, ahead of Nathan McComb and Glyn O'Brien who finished second and third respectively. 

Michelle Muldoon took first place in the Women's category, finishing ahead of Hannah Harvey and Tracy Bisbin.  

With riders facing tough muddy conditions at the beginning of the day (coinciding with the more technical stages), the sun did eventually make an appearance.

Over 200 riders took part in the first round of the Enduro Cup, up on the number of participants who took part in Castlewellan last year.
