Tree Disease Forces Timed Closure of Rostrevor Mountain Bike Trails

The mountain bike trails and downhills at Rostrevor will be closed Monday to Friday all through February due to a disease affecting the trees.

The disease, called Phytopthora ramorum, can be devestating to forests and therefore necessitates significant felling. 

This closure will also allow helicopter access of stones for a new walking trail.
