Bike week 2013 takes place from 15-23 June and to celebrate Belfast City Council are organising a range of two wheeled activities including a free family mountain bike skills training session on the newly opened trails at Barnett Demesne.
Families are invited to whizz around the new mountain bike trails at Barnett Demesne on Wednesday 19th June under the guidance of Active Community cycling coaches.
Mountain bikes will be provided for young people aged 10-14 years old, although parents must provide their own. Everyone can get involved in games which teach bike handling skills as well get information on how to do basic bike maintenance.
However don’t worry if you can’t make it during Bike Week there will also be free sessions on held on the following dates:
